This Indenture Witnesseth that I Mary Frost of Rehoboth in the County of Bristol in this Province of Masstts Bay Indian, by and with the Approbation of Two of Our Majesty’s Justices of the Peace for the County of Bristol aforesaid, have sent my son Ephraim Dumham Frost who was born on the Eighth Day of May Anno Domini Seventeen hundred fifty four, an Apprentice unto John Rogers Richmond of Rehoboth and his heirs, — to learn no Art Trade or Mystery after the manner of an Apprentice to serve, until he arrived to the Age of twenty one years; during all which from the said Apprentice his master faithfully shall serve, and not absent himself from his service by day or night with out his leave, but in all things shall behave himself as a faithful apprentice ought to do towards his master and all his during said Term.

And the said John Rogers Richmond and his Heirs shall use their utmost endeavour to teach and instruct or Cause the said apprentice to Read and Write and shall procure and provide food and sufficient meat Drink washing lodging and Apparel - fitting for such an apprentice during said term, that is untill he the said apprentice shall arrive to the age of Twenty one years, which will he on the Eighth day of may Seventeen Hundred Seventh Five, and at the Expiration thereof the said apprentice shall be dismissed with Two good Suits of apparell suitable for such an apprentice; and for the time performance hereof the said porter have hereunto [illegible] their hands and such this Eighteenth day of May
